TCL. Hosts “Sort and Swap for Trees” Event in Celebration of National Tree Day
May 17, 2024 – The Transport Company Limited (BorKorSor) organized the “Sort and Swap for Trees” event in alignment with the National Tree Day policy. The event took place on the first floor, north wing of the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), with enthusiastic participation from company executives, employees, and passengers.
Organized by the Corporate Communications and Marketing Division, the event aimed to promote environmental conservation, reduce pollution, and raise awareness about waste separation. Participants brought recyclable waste such as plastic bottles, soda cans, and aluminum rings to exchange for various tree saplings, including jackfruit trees, golden trumpet trees, noni trees, teak trees, flame trees, and vegetable seedlings. Over 400 saplings were distributed, encouraging attendees to plant them in their communities.
This initiative supports the government’s National Tree Day policy by enhancing forest resources, promoting environmental preservation, and contributing to national welfare through public service.
