TCL. Launches “Big Cleaning Day: Smart & Safety Station” to Enhance Service Standards and Passenger Confidence
Dr. Piang-Or Laohavilai, Vice Chairman of Transport Co., Ltd. (TCL.), presided over the launch of “TCL. Big Cleaning Day: Smart & Safety Station”, with participation from Dr. Sanlak Panwattanalikit, TCL. Managing Director, Dr. Jadej Thammatacharee, Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office (NHSO), along with TCL. and NHSO executives. The event took place at the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, Chatuchak District, Bangkok.
Purpose of the Initiative
Dr. Sanlak Panwattanalikit stated that the Big Cleaning Day initiative aims to:
- Enhance service readiness to support increased passenger travel during Thailand’s reopening and the upcoming New Year festival.
- Align with the directives of Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport, to strengthen:
- COVID-19 prevention measures
- Passenger safety protocols
- Service efficiency
Since the onset of COVID-19, TCL. has strictly adhered to public health measures to control the pandemic and ensure confidence among passengers. This initiative follows the detection of Thailand’s first Omicron variant case, reinforcing TCL.’s commitment to safeguarding public health.

The Big Cleaning Day: Smart & Safety Station was conducted under the 4 readiness measures across all four Bangkok bus terminals (Chatuchak, Ekkamai, Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai), and Pinklao) and TCL. bus stations nationwide:
