Terms and Conditions for TCL Ticket Usage

  1. Invalid Tickets: Any ticket that has been altered, erased, or crossed out is invalid and cannot be used for travel.

  2. Advance Ticket Purchase:

    • Tickets can be purchased up to 60 days in advance (or 90 days during major holidays).
    • Tickets can be rescheduled once within 30 days of the original travel date.

  3. Rescheduling Tickets:

    • Passengers must request rescheduling at least 3 hours before departure.
    • Failure to reschedule in time will result in forfeiture of the ticket.
    • Once rescheduled, the ticket cannot be refunded.

  4. Ticket Refund:

    • Refunds must be requested at least 3 hours before departure.
    • Failure to meet the deadline will result in forfeiture of the refund.

  5. Travel Compliance: Passengers must board according to the date, time, and platform number printed on the ticket.

  6. Phone Reservations: Passengers must confirm reservations and issue tickets at least 6 hours before departure.

  7. Baggage Allowance:

    • Each passenger may carry up to 2 pieces of luggage, with a combined weight limit of 20 kilograms.

  8. Liability for Baggage:

    • TCL is responsible only for checked baggage with an attached claim tag, up to a maximum value of 1,000 THB.
    • TCL is not responsible for loss or damage to valuables carried on board, items stored in overhead compartments, or left inside the bus.

  9. Discount Eligibility: Passengers eligible for fare discounts must present valid identification or documents at the time of ticket purchase.

  10. Round-Trip Discount: Passengers purchasing round-trip tickets receive a 10% discount.

    • If any leg of the journey is canceled, the discount will be revoked entirely.

  11. Multiple Discount Eligibility: Passengers eligible for multiple fare discounts may only apply the highest discount.

  12. International Travel: Conditions regarding ticket rescheduling, cancellation, fare discounts, and baggage fees do not apply to international travel.

  13. Passenger Insurance: Coverage of up to 300,000 THB per seat.

  3. Earn 1 point for every 10 THB spent (applicable for domestic routes only).

TCL. Launches “Big Cleaning Day: Smart & Safety Station” to Enhance Service Standards and Passenger Confidence

Dr. Piang-Or Laohavilai, Vice Chairman of Transport Co., Ltd. (TCL.), presided over the launch of “TCL. Big Cleaning Day: Smart & Safety Station”, with participation from Dr. Sanlak Panwattanalikit, TCL. Managing Director, Dr. Jadej Thammatacharee, Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office (NHSO), along with TCL. and NHSO executives. The event took place at the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, Chatuchak District, Bangkok.

Purpose of the Initiative

Dr. Sanlak Panwattanalikit stated that the Big Cleaning Day initiative aims to:

  1. Enhance service readiness to support increased passenger travel during Thailand’s reopening and the upcoming New Year festival.
  2. Align with the directives of Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport, to strengthen:
    • COVID-19 prevention measures
    • Passenger safety protocols
    • Service efficiency

Since the onset of COVID-19, TCL. has strictly adhered to public health measures to control the pandemic and ensure confidence among passengers. This initiative follows the detection of Thailand’s first Omicron variant case, reinforcing TCL.’s commitment to safeguarding public health.

4 Readiness Measures

The Big Cleaning Day: Smart & Safety Station was conducted under the 4 readiness measures across all four Bangkok bus terminals (Chatuchak, Ekkamai, Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai), and Pinklao) and TCL. bus stations nationwide:
