#TCL. Joins Inspection of CNG Public Buses to Enhance Passenger Safety#
Today (November 22nd, 2024), Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, along with Mr. Sutthipong Piyachoti, Deputy Minister of Transport, conducted an on-site inspection of public buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG). The inspection aligns with the Department of Land Transport’s (DLT) recent directive requiring all operators of CNG or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) buses to ensure their engines and related equipment undergo safety inspections. This initiative aims to improve the safety and reliability of public transport services.
On this occasion, Mr. Attawit Rakchamroon, Acting President of Transport Co., Ltd. (TCL.), and TCL. executives participated in the event held at the Bus Inspection Facility (Building 5), Department of Land Transport.
The collaborative inspection emphasizes the government’s commitment to ensuring safe and efficient public transportation for all passengers.
