Under the CSR Master Plan (2023–2027): 16 Projects

The Transport Company Limited (BorKorSor) is committed to advancing its CSR efforts in alignment with sustainable organizational development. Under the updated CSR Master Plan (2020–2024), the company adheres to the strategies of Save Earth, Save Life, Save Society, and Save CSR, operating under the theme:
“SOOK DRIVER: Driving Happiness to Thai Society.”

The concept of “SOOK” encompasses four pillars of sustainable social and environmental well-being:

  1. S: Safety – Prioritizing the safety of lives and property at all bus terminals nationwide.
  2. O: Ozone – Reducing environmental pollution from emissions, noise, and waste.
  3. O: Older – Supporting elderly passengers and employees, preparing senior staff for a fulfilling retirement in an aging society.
  4. K: Kid – Providing opportunities for youth to gain vocational skills and experiences, promoting future career readiness.

These initiatives drive BorKorSor’s vision and mission, establishing it as a model organization while fostering sustainable relationships with society and communities. The following projects highlight BorKorSor’s 2022 CSR achievements:


1. “Good Stories Must Be Shared” Project

Launched in 2018, this project recognizes employees for commendable acts of kindness and service, such as assisting passengers in emergencies or returning lost items. In 2022, 26 outstanding acts were rewarded, including helping a passenger in labor and returning lost valuables to their rightful owners.


2. Community Relations Development Project

The Maintenance and Vehicle Inspection Center in Rangsit renovated a sports field for community use, hosting 7,540 users in 2022. Additionally, the center repaired playground equipment for local schools and provided free vehicle inspections during Songkran, assisting 70 vehicles.


3. “Love from Mother to Child” Project

BorKorSor provided free frozen breast milk transportation nationwide to support breastfeeding. In 2022, 1,151 deliveries were made, bringing the total to 23,199 deliveries since the project’s inception.

4. Volunteer Support for Vaccination

BorKorSor volunteers assisted vaccination efforts at Bang Sue Grand Station from May 5, 2021, to July 31, 2022, aiding the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Public Health.


5. Blood Donation Drive

In collaboration with the Thai Red Cross, BorKorSor organized four blood donation drives in 2022, collecting blood from 512 donors.


6. Tree Planting for the Nation

Supporting National Tree Day 2022, BorKorSor distributed seedlings and participated in reforestation efforts in national forest areas in partnership with local forestry offices.


7. Wheelchair Donation Project

BorKorSor provided 121 wheelchairs to underprivileged individuals in 2022, bringing the total donations since 2016 to 721 wheelchairs.

8. Vocational Training for Youth

BorKorSor partnered with vocational schools to train students in automotive maintenance. In 2022, 6 students completed training and received scholarships totaling 180,000 THB.

9. Disaster Relief Project

BorKorSor distributed 200 survival kits to flood victims in Ayutthaya, Ang Thong, and Suphanburi provinces, alleviating hardship for affected communities.

10. “3 S: Build, Support, Happiness” Project

This initiative provided legal awareness training, proactive Covid-19 screening with 17,400 test kits, and safety workshops for employees and drivers.

11. Accessible Transportation Project

Wheelchairs were made available at 40 bus stations nationwide to support passengers with mobility challenges.


12. Promoting Local Products

BorKorSor collaborated with government agencies and SMEs to support local farmers and promote community products through future online platforms.


13. “Happy Stations, Healthy Lives” Project

BorKorSor ensured that food vendors at bus terminals adhered to health and safety standards, offering clean, affordable meals to passengers.


14. Government Policy CSR Projects

BorKorSor distributed 700 survival kits to flood victims in Kabin Buri, Prachin Buri, following directives from the Ministry of Transport.


15. Eco-Efficiency Monitoring

BorKorSor measured eco-efficiency to minimize negative environmental impacts, focusing on energy savings, resource conservation, and waste reduction.


16. Covid-19 Patient Transportation Project

In partnership with the Emergency Medical Institute of Thailand, BorKorSor transported 171 Covid-19 patients across 10 trips back to local hospitals for treatment.


Conclusion

Through these initiatives, BorKorSor demonstrates its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, fostering sustainable growth for the organization, its employees, and the broader community.

Summary of actual overall performance of all 16 plans/projects has progressed by 100 percent, in line with the set goals.
